With work scheduled to get under way in spring 2007, theRenaissance will contain 105 affordable residences, 20,000 sf ofground-level, neighborhood retail and 140 parking spaces. Thearchitectural firm of Eric Colbert & Associates has been tappedto design the six-story environmentally-friendly building.

La Kritz Adler already has had a hand in bringing new life tothe underserved Georgia Avenue corridor, spending $1.3 million toredevelop 3634 Georgia Ave., which is now the 4,400-sf home to apopular restaurant and pub and centers for yoga and meditation. TheRenaissance is on target to open doors in 2009.
