WASHINGTON, DC-A 3600 Georgia Ave. tract has been earmarked for the Renaissance, a 105,000-sf building being redeveloped into condominiums and retail space by La Kritz Adler. The site will be converted it into a $40-million, mixed-use project as part of the ongoing revitalization of the Georgia Avenue corridor.

With work scheduled to get under way in spring 2007, the Renaissance will contain 105 affordable residences, 20,000 sf of ground-level, neighborhood retail and 140 parking spaces. The architectural firm of Eric Colbert & Associates has been tapped to design the six-story environmentally-friendly building.
