MCLEAN, VA-JER Partners has promoted Cia Buckley to president ofUS Fund Business. She takes on the position after six years ofheading up North American acquisitions and asset management assenior managing director at the company. JER Partners is theprivate equity investment division of real estate investmentmanagement concern JE Robert Cos. Buckley will continue to overseeacquisitions and asset management and will also remain a member ofthe company's investment committee.
Buckley joined JER in 1997 as CFO and senior vice president. In2000, she was promoted to senior managing director. In this role,Buckley was involved with the firm's US investment funds, includingthe most recent, JER Fund III, launched in October 2004 with $823million of capital commitments.
