Leases Fill Up Aberdeen Tech Project

ABERDEEN, MD-The Aberdeen Technology Center at the Higher Education and Applied Technology Center has reached maximum capacity with the signing of a lease expansion by an existing occupant and a commitment to space by a new tenant. They take a total of 27,300 sf of space at the 112,000-sf flex/office complex.

A plastics engineering and services provider that works with the government and other government contractors, D. Wheatley Enterprises Inc., which has called Aberdeen Tech Center home for the last eight years, more than doubled its occupancy at the property by expanding from 14,400 sf to 36,900 sf. Newcomer Battelle Memorial Institute, a global science and technology concern, signed a lease for 4,800 sf of space. Further terms of the agreements between the occupants and property owner and manager St. John Properties Inc. have not been disclosed.
