Montefiore has extended its lease through 2018. Additional leasing details were not revealed. Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates arranged the transaction within the three-story, medical office building. Joshua M. Dolgin, vice president, represented the owner, Kadima Medical Properties LLC, which is a subsidiary of Kalmon Dolgin. Montefiore was represented by their in-house team.

Located at the intersection of Zerega and Westchester avenues, the medical center is close to the Cross Bronx and Bruckner expressways. It is also home to a Health Insurance Plan of New York center and is close to the area's hospitals, including Albert Einstein, Westchester Square and the Jacobi hospitals.

Dolgin says the firm acquired the site in February of 2004. "We view this early renewal as a testament to our positive client relationships and devotion to providing top-quality commercial space."

This 1,062-bed Montefiore includes the Henry and Lucy Moses Division, the Jack D. Weiler Hospital and the Children's Hospital at Montefiore, a home healthcare agency and a 21-site medical group practice located throughout the Bronx and in Westchester. Kalmon Dolgin manages more than six million sf and has acquired $250 million of its own real estate assets within the last year alone. It primarily owns industrial and medical/office properties.
