DENVER-Willa Johnson has joined the US Bank Community Development Corp. as a business development associate. She will work out of the US Bank office located at 918 17th St. in Downtown Denver.

Johnson is responsible for marketing and financial analysis for low-income housing tax credit investments that developers use for helping to finance low- and moderate-income housing developments. Johnson previously worked for Boulder Housing Partners as a housing planner.

The US Bank CDC makes investments in affordable housing and historic districts using the LIHTC, historic and new markets tax credits. More than $2.5 billion of these investments have been made by the US Bank CDC on behalf of the bank.

US Bancorp, with assets of $209 billion, is the sixth largest financial holding company in the US. The company operates 2,419 banking offices and provides a line of banking, brokerage, insurance, investment, mortgage, trust and payment services products to consumers, businesses and institutions. US Bancorp is the parent company of US Bank.
