The developer is making a $12-million investment on two spec structures at its 230-acre Chastain Meadows business park in the Kennesaw/Town Center submarket of northwest Atlanta. They are the 86,086-sf Building 100 and the 83,895-sf Building 200. The buildings, offering light-industrial, office and distribution space, are tentatively scheduled for delivery by the fall, says Hamilton Reynolds, president of the company's Industrial Division.

"The Northwest Atlanta submarket has been fairly tight for some time with very little vacancy," Reynolds says. "The demand is there and since we're already so well-positioned with our location, access and proximity to amenities and housing, it's simply the right time-right place."

The company is also making sure to provide a mix of product choices. "Building 100 is 200 feet deep and is best suited for a 16,000-sf minimum tenant, while Building 200 is 140 feet deep and can accommodate smaller tenants in the 10,000-sf range," says Mike Irby, director of leasing the Industrial Division.
