GLOUCESTER, NJ-DNE Imports Inc., an Arlington, TX-based produce distributor, has acquired the 102,000-sf warehouse/distribution facility at 890 Charles St. here. The acquisition marks the buyer's entry into the metro Philadelphia market.

The seller was the Bloom Organization, a Mt. Laurel, NJ-based company with more than four million sf of commercial and industrial real estate in South Jersey, including multiple industrial parks. The transaction was arranged by Marc Isdaner, director and SVP, and associate Matthews Guers of Colliers Lanard & Axilbund, Philadelphia. The duo had been hired by the Bloom Organization to find a buyer or tenants for the vacant asset. The sale price was not disclosed.

The building, situated on a rail-served site of just under four acres, features 22-foot clear ceiling heights and 500 sf of built-out office space. DNE's plan is to retrofit the newly acquired asset for refrigerated food distribution purposes.
