Startup Ramps Up With Five-Year Pact

FORT WORTH-AFM Office Solutions adds a document storage line to its services, taking down a 37,500-sf office/warehouse to launch the plan. The local owners waste no time in finding the spot and setting up the shop.

FORT WORTH-A startup company is settling into a 37,500-sf office/warehouse in the northeast submarket, filling a yearlong vacancy for a local owner. The document storage firm has started out with a five-year lease.

AFM Office Solutions took over 5001 Northeast Parkway to expand its business line to include document storage after several local customers lobbed a convincing play for the added service from their products’ supplier, according to Jeff Givens, principal for Fort Worth-based NAI Huff Partners. He tells GlobeSt.com that AFM’s executives “knew where they needed to be so they narrowed in on that building rather quickly.” The upshot is “it was a real easy deal,” he says.
