Pillsbury Inks 25,000-SF Deal

SAN DIEGO-The local office sector continues to show signs of a steady and lasting recovery. Office users, particularly among the professional services, have been aggressively seeking space of late, and locking in on long-term leases.The latest firm to ink a significant deal is the local office of law firm Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. The firm signed a deal for space at Paseo Del Mar. Pillsbury agreed to a 10-year lease for 25,506 sf, at the class A office property. The firm paid some $12.2 million for the space, which is under construction.According to the firm’s managing partner of its two San Diego offices, the lease agreement reflects its bullishness on the North County area, which is among the county’s tightest office markets.
