Richard Rogers has been named to design the two-million-sf 175 Greenwich St. (Tower 3). Fumihiko Maki of Japan will design the 1.8-million-sf 150 Greenwich St. (Tower 4).The 175 Greenwich building will be bounded by Dey Street to the north, Cortlandt Street to the south, Church Street to the east, and a re-introduced Greenwich Street to the west. The 150 Greenwich building will be bounded by Cortlandt Street to the north, Liberty Street to the south, Church Street to the east, and a re-introduced Greenwich Street to the west. Both will accommodate approximately five floors of retail space at and above street level and as part of an underground concourse linking to the WTC Transportation Hub.

Last week, an agreement was reached between Silverstein and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey regarding the WTC rebuilding process. In three weeks, the 52-story 7 World Trade Center, which is just north of the site, will officially open.
