TAMPA, FL-Atlanta-based Wood Partners Inc., which already has carved a niche for itself in Central Florida multifamily development circles, plans to break ground in July on its second Downtown Tampa venture. The 343-unit, eight story Boulevard Condos, along with 5,000 sf of ground-level retail, will go up at South Brevard Avenue and West Kennedy Boulevard.

The retail component will face Kennedy Boulevard. Condo homes, sized from 715 sf to 1,448 sf, will be priced from the low $200,000s with the average price at $300,000. One home is priced at $1 million. Coldwell Banker the Condo Store is handling sales and marketing. A Wood Partners' representative tells GlobeSt.com the build-out value of the project is expected to be $87 million or an average $253,644 per unit.

The Preston Partnership of Atlanta is designing Wood's newest venture and also designed Wood's first project, Six Ten Franklin, a 32-story, 503-unit condo complex on the former Downtown Maas Brothers department store site.
