ROCHELLE, IL-Del Monte Corp. has signed a three-year lease with DP Partners for 364,755 sf at its LogistiCenter, filling the first building in the 300-acre rail-served industrial park. Last year, Clark Steel Framing Systems became the first tenant in the LogistiCenter at Rochelle, signing a 214,820-sf deal.

The building on 26.8 acres at 501 Stewart Rd. shared by San Francisco-based Del Monte and Clark Steel Framing Systems, based in Cincinnati, can be expanded to 1.2 million sf. Completed late last year, the building is in an industrial park at the crossroads of I-88 and I-39. The Union Pacific as well as Burlington Northern & Santa Fe railroads serve LogistiCenter at Rochelle.

Lee & Associates principals James B. Planey, SIOR and Jeffrey J. Janda handled negotiations with the food producer for Reno, NV-based DP Partners along with associate Denise J. Dalicandro. The industrial park is expanded to have five million sf of high-cube warehouse and distribution space when it ultimately is completed.
