James E. Conley, Jr. has been named chief operating officer. In his role, he will be responsible for the financial functions and oversight of all the company's assets. Conley was previously senior vice president, hotel finance, for Wyndham International.

Paul Burke has been named executive vice president of operations. In his role, he will oversee the operations of Noble's portfolio of full-service hotels, resorts, convention and conference centers, and dining operations. Prior to Noble, Burke was president of operations for Interstate Hotels & Resorts. He also previously served as are director of operations for the southeast for Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

"As Noble continues its aggressive growth strategy, we are committed to ensuring that we have a talented and experienced team in place to meet our significant strategic goals," says Mit Shah, Noble president and chief executive officer. "Both Paul and Jim have impeccable hospitality backgrounds, and as proven leaders, will play key roles as Noble continues to expand."

In recent months Noble had made several expansion moves. The company acquired the former Wyndham Metairie Hotel in New Orleans for approximately $20 million, as GlobeSt.com previously reported. On the heels of the deal, Noble plans to re-brand the property under the Sheraton flag. In addition, Noble joined with DiamondRock Hospitality Co. to acquire the Westin Atlanta North at Perimeter Center for $61.5 million, as GlobeSt.com also reported.
