CHICAGO-Transwestern Commercial Services' Midwest headquarters office will relocate to the 33rd floor of the 200 W. Madison building, effective June 16. Moving rom 150 N. Wacker Dr., the firm will be tripling its space to 22,800 sf.
According to Robert Bagguley, president of the firm's Midwest Region, the company started thinking about the move 12 to 18 months ago. The final negotiations and build-out took about nine months. "This move will accommodate our current growth and our needs through the foreseeable future," he says.
Transwestern has been active in the Chicago market since 1998 and has grown from six to 198 employees. In addition to a Downtown Chicago office, Transwestern has an office at 9399 W. Higgins Rd. in northwest suburban Rosemont.
Transwestern's local office specializes in property and facility management, tenant advisory, investment and finance and development. Currently, the firm reports that it oversees the leasing and management of over 62 properties totaling more than 10 million sf.
