Kaufman Doubles Local Portfolio With $32M Buy

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA-Atlanta-based Kaufman Realty Group has purchased the three-building Gwinnett Center for $32 million, a deal that doubles the company’s portfolio of office space in Gwinnett County.

The buildings, located at 3505, 3555 and 3575 Kroger Blvd. near the Gwinnett Place Mall, contain a total of 263,862 sf of space and averaged 70% occupancy at the time of the sale. The buildings were purchased from New York-based DRA Advisors LLC, which acquired the property in November 2005 when it bought the entire CRT Properties company portfolio. DRA is selling select properties from the portfolio. Justin Parsonnet, of CB Richard Ellis represented DRA in the sale of the Gwinnett Center.

Other properties Kaufman owns in Gwinnett County include the Crescent, a three-story, 115,000-sf class A building and Satellite Court, a two-story, 43,000-sf both. Both properties are located on Satellite Boulevard.
