Gold's Gym Inks $10M Deal for 15 Years

SIMI VALLEY, CA-This community north of Los Angeles is getting its first Gold’s Gym, with the fitness center chain signing a deal for a 50,000-sf space at the Simi Valley Plaza, according to Lee & Associates. Ken Shishido, principal and director of retail services at the Lee & Associates-LA North/Ventura office, reports that Gold’s signed a 15-year, $10-million lease for its first facility in the Simi Valley.

The site is at 1357 E. Los Angeles Ave. in the Simi Valley Plaza, including both indoor and outdoor space. Slated to open in September, the new gym will offer co-ed facilities and will feature fitness equipment and services including group exercise, personal training and the core weight lifting tradition of Gold’s.
