Steven Durels, executive vice president and director of leasing for owner SL Green, says the deal is notable because it "underscores the desirability of 100 Park Avenue's location at the foot of Grand Central Terminal." Brian Rothschild of Colliers ABR Inc. represented the tenant. Additional leasing details were not available.

The site is currently undergoing a $70-million redevelopment program including a new glass and metal façade, a two-story high lobby, complete infrastructure upgrade and added security. The 36-story, class A building, contains 825,000 rentable sf and has a tenant roster that also includes J&W Seligman & Co. and Altria.
