Mary Jo Eaton has been named managing director of asset services in the Washington/Baltimore Region; Jerry Reich, formerly a principal of Reich Management, has been appointed director of its Washington/Baltimore Project Management team. CBRE also brought on leasing professionals Randy Harrell and Kevin Howard, from rival broker Grubb & Ellis, which is also building out its Washington-area platform. Indeed Eaton was brought over from the firm's Philadelphia office to fill the void left by Keith Lipton, now executive vice president and managing director of Grubb & Ellis.

Jay Olshonsky, managing director, Washington DC office for CBRE tells GlobeSt.com that "good brokers are always hard to find. We are constantly adding good people when the opportunity presents itself." He says that most of the firm's hires have been the result of long-term relationships built up over the years. "For instance, I have been talking with Randy for seven years about when the timing would be right to come over. Either they were not ready to move or we weren't ready."
