Now known as Jones Lang LaSalle, the company recently moved its Boston headquarters from 255 State St. in Boston to One Post Office Square in an expansion that gives the firm 55,000 sf on three floors, about 15,000 sf more than it had at its previous location.
"This is literally ground zero in the Financial District," Steve Steinberg of Jones Lang LaSalle tells GlobeSt.com. "This location is as central as you can get."
The firm will take the 26th and 27th floors and a portion of the 28th floor in the 42-story, 766,129-sf office tower. Terms of the lease were not disclosed but space in the Financial District generally leases from the mid-$40 per sf into the $60 per sf range, according to recent market studies.
