Peabody & Arnold will move from its Rose Wharf offices late next year into 29,268 sf at 600 Atlantic Ave., taking the sixth and seventh floors in the one-million-sf , 32-story, class A office tower, Francis X. Durand, with Meredith & Grew's Boston office, tells GlobeSt.com.
"It's a fantastic opportunity in a fantastic building," says Durand, noting that the building, one of the city's most prominent skyscrapers, features a top floor restaurant, a full cafeteria, multiple conference rooms, fitness center and a location next to Boston's South Station.
Other tenants in the 95%-occupied landmark building include the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, and several law and financial firms. Citing a confidentiality agreement, Durand declined to disclose the lease details but office space in the Financial District generally rents in the $30-per-sf range and up, according to market studies.
Durand, Ronald K. Perry and Roger W. Breslin, all with Meredith & Grew, represented the landlord, the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Peabody & Arnold was represented by Lawrence A. Bianchi of the Codman Co., Inc. and Robert B. Cleary formerly with the Codman Co.
