Patni was represented in the transaction by principals Dennis Gralla and James J. Scancarella of the Paramus office of Cresa Partners. The tenant is a long-term Cresa client, represented nationally by Adam Subber of the firm's headquarters office in Boston. The building is owned by the Cranford-based Mack-Cali Realty Corp., which was represented in-house by Tom Savoca. Terms were not released.

Harborside Plaza 5 is a 980,000-sf, 34-story office tower on this city's waterfront. Patni is expected to be in the building by the end of this month, according to Gralla.
