CEO Post Shifts at LaSalle Investment

CHICAGO-Lynn Thurber steps down as CEO of JLL Group's investment management arm and moves into the chairman's seat. European regional CEO Jeff Jacobson replaces her and remains based in London.

CHICAGO-Effective Dec. 31, Lynn Thurber will retire as CEO of LaSalle Investment Management and be succeeded by Jeff Jacobson, current European regional CEO. Thurber will shed day-to-day management responsibilities to assume the newly created title of chairman of LaSalle, which is locally based Jones Lang LaSalle Group’s investment management business arm.

Thurber has held the CEO post since 1994 when Alex Brown, Kleinwort Benson Realty Advisors merged with LaSalle Partners to become Jones Lang LaSalle. She is the former CEO of ABKB and, prior to that, was a principal at Morgan Stanley & Co. In her new role as chairman of LaSalle, Thurber will focus on further development of client relationships, provide guidance to senior management and serve on selected investment committees and advisory boards of LaSalle-sponsored funds.
