Sperry Van Ness Forms Alliance With New Miami

MIAMI-As part of its national expansion program, Irvine, CA-based Sperry Van Ness has aligned with New Miami Realty Corp.

Jose Serrano is the principal serving as managing director of Sperry Van Ness/New Miami Realty Corp. and Gabriel Serrano is senior advisor.

With the addition of New Miami Realty Corp., Sperry Van Ness has grown from nine markets to over 150 markets in approximately four years. Sperry Van Ness director of organizational development Julianne Bawden is responsible for the company’s growth in Florida while regional director Rod Santomassimo oversees the region’s team of advisors. Bawden tells GlobeSt.com that New Miami Realty Corp. was selected for several reasons. “Before we add a new member, we look at a number of factors such as experience, integrity and success in terms of gross commission income,” Bawden says. “One of the deciding factors with New Miami was its incredible work ethic.”
