"Neal will be building a team and equipping our New York office with another strong brokerage team with which to pursue larger national and international clients," explains CEO Barry M. Gosin.

Golden came to Newmark Knight Frank as a senior vice president. He supervised national accounts and had a hand in the negotiations of several large transactions on behalf of the firm's corporate and legal clients, according to the firm.

One notable deal Golden brokered was Burger King's 269,000-sf headquarters deal in Coral Gables, FL last year. Newmark Knight Frank's Patrick Duffy and Bert Sanders, in the Atlanta office, joined Golden in repping Burger King in a transaction that won the Southern Florida Chapter of NAIOP's Deal of the Year award. In addition, Golden repped Dunkin' Brands, Inc. in its headquarters search, which saw the former Allied Domecq Quick Service Restaurants consolidate six locations into a 175,000-sf facility in Canton, MA. Golden also teamed again with Duffy and Sanders on Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough's 100,000-sf relocation at Atlantic Station in Atlanta.

"We are very excited to welcome a person of Neal's stature, experience and incredible talent to the highly competitive New York market," says president James D. Kuhn.

Newmark Knight Frank and London-based partner Knight Frank Newmark have more than 140 offices on six continents. Last year, the firm handled transactions valued at more that $41 billion with annual revenues of more than $545 million.
