Ryan Moves Forward on $50M Medical Center

MENOMONEE FALLS, WI-With 75% of the first building in North Hills Medical Centre preleased, the ground breaks for a 61,000-sf structure.

MENOMONEE FALLS, WI-The Chicago office of Ryan Cos. US has broken ground for Phase 1 of the North Hills Medical Centre. The initial building is a three-story, 61,000-sf medical office and surgical center, one of three buildings planned on the 11-acre complex adjacent to the intersection of Apple Avenue and Good Hope Road.

Construction of the entire complex is expected to cost between $40 million and $50 million, according to Brad Wilson, Ryan’s VP of development. The first building is 75% preleased and expected to open by summer 2007.

“We plan to break ground on the second 61,000-sf building later this year,” Wilson tells GlobeSt.com. “The third and final phase calls for a freestanding 20,000-sf building. We’ll hold off on that because of parking issues. Since we don’t yet know who’ll be leasing all of the initial two buildings, we want to make sure we’ll have ample parking to meet their needs.”
