State Adds $6M to Center's Infrastructure

YORK, PA-The Springettsbury Township Development Authority gets a $5.7-million grant to help with road costs for the 291,000-sf York Town Center.

YORK, PA-A grant of nearly $5.7 million from the Commonwealth’s Infrastructure Facilities Improvement Program has been awarded to help complete improvements to the road network serving York Town Center. As GlobeSt.com previously reported, the 291,000-sf shopping center is a joint venture between Lancaster-based High Real Estate Group and Chattanooga, TN-based CBL & Associates Properties Inc.

The infrastructure grant was awarded to the Springettsbury Township Development Authority on behalf the High Real Estate and CBL, according to a statement by Gov. Ed Rendell. It will be dispersed over a 10-year period in equal installments of $568,392. The project calls for lengthening the Route 30 ramps near the development site.
