Investment Money Continues to Flood Market

NEW YORK CITY-This week alone saw just two developers raise nearly $1 billion for the development, renovation and acquisition of all property types.

NEW YORK CITY-Everyday brings news of more money hitting the scene. Three long-term investors of Edens & Avant just announced plans to give the shopping center developer $300 million to build and renovate centers. And earlier this week, BPG Properties Ltd. Launched BPG Investment Partnership Fund VIII LP, its largest real estate investment fund to date, with plans to raise $650 million to $750 million for real estate acquisitions.

But will this activity continue into 2007? The RealShare Conference Series looks to answer this question when between 200 and 300 industry leaders meet for the inaugural RealShare National Investor Forum Oct. 10 at the Roosevelt Hotel.

“RealShare National Investor Forum is going to bring together a wide range of active buyers and sellers, as well as leading investment sales brokers and lenders who help put the deals together,” comments Richard Kelley, director of the RealShare Conference Series.
