Compass Medical PC Planning $7M-Plus Medical Facility

EAST BRIDGEWATER, MA-A medical facility spanning 70,000 sf will rise on about seven acres of land at the site of the former Foxboro Co. plant.

EAST BRIDGEWATER, MA-Compass Medical PC will begin construction on a $7.5-million, 70,000-sf medical facility in East Bridgewater that will replace and expand on it existing Whitman facility.

The project, known as the Southeast Medical Center, will be built on about seven acres on Route 18 at the former Foxboro Co. plant and will house an array of medical services through Brigham and Women’s Hospital, South Shore Hospital, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Eye Health Services. All four medical providers have agreed to lease space at the new center. The medical facility, which will have urgent and primary care services, including counseling, psychiatric services, orthopedic surgery, obstetrics and physical therapy, is expected to be open by next spring.
