OBETZ, OH-Whirlpool Corp. has leased CreekSide XII, a 737,352-sf build-to-suit facility located on CreekSide Parkway within the Pizzuti Cos.' CreekSide Industrial Center. Joel S. Pizzuti, president and COO of the Pizzuti Co., says that during the past 10 years, the company has developed more than three million sf of build-to-suit facilities for Whirlpool in Carlisle, PA, Clyde, OH, Indianapolis, Dallas, Tulsa and Orlando.
Situated within the 500-acre master planned CreekSide Industrial Center, CreekSide XII features 34-foot clear height, pre-cast concrete walls, ESFR throughout, a concrete dock area and heavy duty drive lanes for ample truck maneuverability. The property also benefits from Foreign Trade Zone #138, a 15-year real estate tax incentive as well as being in an Enterprise Zone. The facility also sits adjacent to the Norfolk Southern Railroad. Jim Miller, executive vice president, represented Pizzuti in the transaction.
A manufactuer of home appliances, Whirlpool Corp. has approximately 50 manufacturing and technology research centers. The company markets Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Brastemp, Bauknecht, Consul and other major brand names to consumers in more than 170 countries.
