Grubb & Ellis Increase Focus on Maryland

BETHESDA, MD-The company adds four brokers to its local office and plans to focus on the life science industry, among others.

BETHESDA, MD-Grubb & Ellis Co. has doubled the size of its office here, pulling in four new brokers from GVA Advantis. Kevin McGloon is the firm’s new senior vice president. Kenneth Smondrowski was named vice president, Peter Rosan assistant vice president and Kathryn Mootz senior associate.

The new hires are part of Grubb & Ellis’ efforts to jump start its Maryland platform, McGloon tells GlobeSt.com. “The Maryland office market has 65 million sf approximately. That is larger than many of the top markets in the country.”
