Academy of Sciences Moves to 7 WTC

NEW YORK CITY-The non-profit moved from its almost 60-year headquarters to take 40,000 sf on the 40th floor.

NEW YORK CITY-The New York Academy of Sciences has moved into its new headquarters at 7 World Trade Center, after being the first company to commit to the first building to fall on 9/11. As reported by GlobeSt.com ,the non-profit leased the 40 floor in December 2005 in a 15-year deal.

H3 Hardy Collaboration Architecture designed the company’s new space in an attempt to reinvent its image and launch it into the 21 century. According to a company release, the 40,000 sf the Academy is leasing will house 85 employees and meeting space for up to 300 people.
