Law Firm Takes 24,000 SF at Centre Square

PHILADELPHIA-Mintzer, Sarowitz, Zeris, Ledva and Meyers will relocate its headquarters from 1528 Walnut St. to the top floors of Centre Square II.

PHILADELPHIA-More than a year before its lease expires at 1528 Walnut St., the law firm of Mintzer, Sarowitz, Zeris, Ledva and Meyers LLC has signed a lease for 24,000 sf in Centre Square II at 1500 Market St. In early 2008, it will relocate its headquarters to the 43-story tower’s top floors, which will be vacated by Comcast Corp. when the Comcast Center reaches completion late next year.

“By executing the lease now, they were able to take advantage of market conditions that allowed them to obtain a lease at an attractive rental rate well before their existing lease expired,” says Thomas Kramer of locally based Jackson Cross Partners, who represented the law firm in the negotiations. Chris Dyer of the local office of CB Richard Ellis represented the building owner, Newton, MA-based HRPT Properties.
