Charter Communications Renews 36,000 SF Lease

WORCESTER, MA-The cable TV provider has inked a five year lease extension at fully-leased 640 Lincoln St. here.

WORCESTER, MA-Cable TV provider Charter Communications Entertainment will remain in the same Worcester building where it has been a tenant for the last four years. The company inked a five-year lease extension that keeps the firm in 36,000 sf of office and warehouse space at 640 Lincoln St.

Jim Umphrey, with Kelleher & Sadowsky Associates Inc., of Worcester, tells GlobeSt.com that the tenant opted to remain in the fully-leased, 140,000 sf property because its location just off Route 290 offered convenient access to the area for the firm’s office and warehouse operation. “The efficiency of the space really worked for them,” says Umphrey, noting that the company will use about two thirds of the space as a warehouse for its cable supplies.
