Reckson Postpones Shareholders Meeting

NEW YORK CITY-The special meeting to vote on the merger with SL Green has been pushed back by almost a week.

Reckson is now considering Rome's proposal, which will give shareholders $49 per share in cash. After news broke of the new offer, executives at SL Green issued a statement that questioned the credibility of the new offer.

The proposed merger between Reckson and SL Green was made public in August.
