Simon Kucher Expands US HQ Under Extended Lease

CAMBRIDGE, MA-Simon Kucher & Partners expands its space and extends its lease at its US headquarters in Cambridge. The global consulting firm will take a total of 17,131 sf at 1 Canal Park.

CAMBRIDGE, MA-Global consulting firm Simon Kucher & Partners has expanded its US headquarter by 4,340 sf under a six-and-a-half-year lease extension that gives the firm a total of 17,131 sf at 1 Canal Park here. Dan Sullivan, with Cresa Partners’ Boston office, tells GlobeSt.com that the firm, which has been in the 96,000-sf building for about six years, had 18 months remaining on its existing 12,791 sf lease.

The company opted to stay in the building because of its location across from the Galleria Mall and the ability of building owner Equity Office Properties to offer contiguous space for expansion, Sullivan says. “They had an opportunity to get contiguous space in a building that was 100% leased,” he notes.
