University Hospitals Buys Former OfficeMax HQ

SHAKER HEIGHTS,OH-The 225,000-sf building will house the administrative and human resources offices of the organization.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH-University Hospitals has purchased the 225,000-sf former OfficeMax headquarters here for $6.7 million. The organization is moving its administrative and human resources functions to the building as part of a plan to build a new campus and expand its current medical campus at University Circle, according to Rob Roe, president of the Staubach Co.

Staubach’s Roe, Chris Clayton and Chris Livingston represented OfficeMax in the disposition of the building at 3605 Warrenville Center Rd. “When OfficeMax decided to consolidate its headquarters to Illinois, we were charged with representing a unique opportunity to the market,” Roe says. “University Hospitals is the perfect fit with their growth, new campus and commitment to Northeast Ohio.”
