(LA JOLLA, CA) Jonathan Ferrini is named founding principal of the La Jolla office after a seven-year stint as senior vice president and principal in the firm's Commerce, CA office.

PROLOGIS
(DENVER) Gary E. Anderson is appointed Europe president and COO after 12 years with the firm, most recently as managing director of capital deployment in the Southwest US. Steven K. Meyer, who also joined the firm in 1994, will succeed Anderson in the Southwest, returning to the US after three years as Europe president and COO. Charles Sullivan becomes managing director for North American capital management, succeeding Robert J. Watson, who was named CEO for ProLogis European Properties.

CRESA PARTNERS
(WASHINGTON, DC, DALLAS) J. Russell Canard becomes vice president after working five years as an adviser. In Dallas, Larry Kelso is hired as principal and director of project management and Todd Williams as vice president.

METROPOLITAN PROPERTIES
(CHICAGO) Controller Mary K. Vidinich also earns a vice president's title. She joined the firm 11 months ago after working as assistant controller for Trizec Properties Inc.

New Hires

KOR GROUP
(LOS ANGELES) Effective Jan. 1, Greg Ashley becomes president and partner of a new affiliate being formed in Vancouver, British Columbia. Ashley has spent the past 14 years at Intrawest ULC, where he founded and led Playground Destination Properties.

HARRISON STREET REAL ESTATE CAPITAL
(CHICAGO) Andy Denekas is made vice president and director of investor accounting and reporting. He previously was vice president of portfolio accounting at Capri Capital Advisors.

LANE INVESTMENT & DEVELOPMENT
(DALLAS) Mark McHenry will lead the firm's expansion in the Southwest as a regional partner for the Lane Co. subsidiary. He previously was vice president of western region development for Colonial Properties Trust.

RBC CAPITAL MARKETS
(DALLAS) Matthew Mahone is hired as vice president for Southwest originations, responsible for analyzing and closing CMBS loans. He previously originated CMBS loans for JPMorgan in the Southwest.

FREMONT INVESTMENT & LOAN
(CHICAGO) Michael Battin starts as vice president and senior loan originator after working as vice president in the real estate broker channel group for GE Healthcare.

REAL ESTATE CAPITAL PARTNERS
(NEW YORK CITY) Marc Schulder and Terri Gumula join the New York City office and Tony Cardoza comes on board in San Francisco. Schulder previously was commercial leasing director for SK Properties; Gumula, project director of acquisitions for Time Equities; and Cardoza was in acquisitions and investments for Prometheus Real Estate Group.

ASSET PLUS COS.
(HOUSTON) Barrett Kirk joins as investment analyst and asset manager. The six-year professional most recently was with KeyBank Real Estate Capital as a senior portfolio manager.

HEI HOSPITALITY
(NORWALK, CT) Ted Darnall comes on board as COO and partner after a reign as president and COO for Merritt Hospitality, HEI's management subsidiary.
