The brokerage team, who left Grubb & Ellis in 1995, tells GlobeSt.com they were looking for new opportunities in a national firm and found just what they were seeking in their former employer. "It was a good fit," says Nugent. "It had the national platform and very strong territory leaders or product leaders to help bring the Boston office forward."
Stephen Brodsky, senior vice president and managing director of Boston's Grubb & Ellis office, tells GlobeSt.com that the addition of Giunta and Nugent, both top producers in their field, will enhance the firm's brokerage team and help the company develop a stronger presence in the Boston market.
"In addition to being consistent top performers, they possess the experience, professionalism and integrity we are looking for as we grow the Boston office," says Brodsky, adding that Grubb & Ellis plans to add between four and 14 brokers to the firm's 26-person staff. Brodsky said the pair's addition reflects a number of changes nationwide at Grubb & Ellis as the company moves to capitalize on the consolidation climate that is occurring in the real estate industry.
Giunta will handle investment sales and corporate representation in his new position while Nugent will work as a tenant representative in the northern suburban market.
