Sperry Van Ness Partners With Local Firm

SALISBURY, MD-Sperry Van Ness, an Irvine, CA-based brokerage firm, and locally based Miller Commercial Real Estate have partnered with the goal of leveraging each other’s core markets. Effective this week, the name of the new firm is Sperry Van Ness-Miller Commercial Real Estate.

At the same time, five brokers from Long & Foster Commercial have been recruited to join the new firm, according to Brent Miller, marketing director. Henry Hanna, John McClellan, Wesley Cox, Chris Peek and Donna Savage were former colleagues during Miller’s own tenure at Long & Foster. Hanna has closed more than 1,000 commercial real estate transactions over the past 35 years. He was the commercial manager for Long & Foster Real Estate and over the years hired most of the brokers now working for Sperry Van Ness–Miller Commercial Real Estate including Miller, McClellan, Peek and Cox.

They will be joining Bradley Gillis, Rick Tilghman and Darren Crawford at the company’s new headquarters, located in the recently renovated HR White Hardware Building at 206 East Main St.
