COLUMBUS, OH-McKesson Medical-Surgical has signed a lease for 250,000 sf in Opus I at Big Run Industrial Park, which is at the interchange of Interstate 270 and Route 62 here. The tenant, a unit of healthcare services firm McKesson Corp., plans to take occupancy of the building during the first quarter of 2007, according to landlord Opus North Corp.

Situated on 25 acres, the 488,750-sf Opus I features parking for 180 cars and 59 trailers, 45 truck docks (expandable to 120), and three drive-in doors. The interior contains an ESFR sprinkler system, 32-foot clear height and 50- by 50-foot bay sizes. It also offers 100% 15-year real estate tax abatement.

Opus North owns one additional site in Big Run that can accommodate a 400,000-sf building. Opus I was designed by Acock & Associates in coordination with Opus Architects & Engineers and was built by Opus North Corp.
