Brooklyn Navy Yard Hits 99% Occupancy

BROOKLYN, NY-With the help of 11 new leases and two lease expansions, the Brooklyn Navy Yard is now almost full. Construction for an additional 400,000 sf began last month.

BROOKLYN, NY-The Brooklyn Navy Yards Development Corp. has signed 11 new leases and two lease expansions, to total about 62,000 sf, at the 300-acre Brooklyn Navy Yard. The industrial hub now houses more than 230 businesses.

The 11 new tenants are Barronarts LLC, Budget Computer, Christian Galesi, Constantine Karalis Architect, Fervent Electrical Corp., Goldberg’s International Marketing Co. Inc., Grace Contracting of NY Inc., Liz McConnell Studio, Master Cabinetry Inc., Thoughts In Grey Circles Inc. and WilsonBuilt Inc. Together the new tenants leased a total of 44,320 sf. Goldberg’s International Marketing signed the largest lease of the group taking 23,500 sf of storage and distribution space. Master Cabinetry’s lease was second largest at 5,666 sf.
