The largest takes up an entire building now under construction. Located at 320 Sentinel Dr. in Annapolis Junction, it will be a 125,681-sf class A office building ready for occupancy in Q4 2007. The building will be called 320 NBP and is one of two facilities under construction at the National Business Park, now in Phase II of development. COPT has 283,000 sf under construction at the park, including 320 NBP, and 327,000 sf under development. It did not identify its new tenant other than to say it is one of its top 20 tenants.

The second lease also is for an entire building, located at 940 Elkridge Landing Rd., in Linthicum. Called Airport Square VII, the 53,941-sf property will be occupied in Q2 2007. COPT did not identify the tenant other than to say it is also a key tenant.AARP signed the third lease, expanding by 57,947 sf, the space it occupies at 15 West Gude Dr. in Rockville. When it starts paying rent for the additional space in Q4 2007, AARP will occupy a total of 104,695 sf. The building is now completely occupied.

"We are very pleased to sign a full building lease at both 320 NBP and Airport Square VII with two of our top tenants, as well as expand our relationship with AARP at Rockville Corporate Center, demonstrating COPT's continued ability to grow its existing tenant relationships," Randall Griffin, COPT's president and CEO says in a statement.
