Scott Hodges, vice president of park developer Sunbeam Development Corp., tells GlobeSt.com that an addition is being constructed to accommodate the growing needs of the company. Construction on the addition is expected to begin within the next few weeks. "Premier Beverage is expected to occupy the space in early fall," says Hodges, who is overseeing the construction.

The company, which has been a tenant at the park since 1992, distributes fine wine and spirits. The Miramar location contains administrative offices that service activities throughout Florida, as well as a warehouse and distribution center that serves Vero Beach through Key West. The company sells and distributes to licensed retailers throughout the state from its Miramar location and other facilities in Jacksonville, Orlando, Pensacola and Tampa.

"Premier Beverage Co. continues to expand within Miramar and the Miramar Park of Commerce because of its central location," says Premier Beverage Co. CEO Bob Drinon. "Our South Florida distribution area is now strategically positioned to accommodate the company's long term growth needs."

Andrew Ansin of Sunbeam handled the lease transaction. With 4.5 million sf of space completed, the Miramar Park of Commerce is the largest corporate park in Broward County. More than 160 companies are located in the park.
