Continental's TN Center Leases Up

HENDERSONVILLE, TN-Continental Real Estate Companies is leasing up what the Columbus, OH-based firm is billing as the Nashville area’s first outdoor lifestyle center. With the addition of some recent signings, the 405,000-sf Streets of Indian Lake here is now about 70% leased, Brett Robinson, the company’s vice president of development, tells GSR.

Among the tenants that have agreed to lease space at the center are Barnes & Noble, Regal Cinema, Lane Bryant, Ann Taylor Loft, Jos. A. Bank Clothiers, Victoria’s Secret and others. “Our key deals, which are the point of difference for this project, all of those are either executed or close to execution,” Robinson says of the $70-million center.

The project, to open in March 2008, is part of a mixed-use development being developed by Halo Properties of Nashville, 32 miles north of that city’s downtown. The entire 400-acre site is planned for 1.5 million sf of retail (part of which is the Streets of Indian Lake), 2.3 million sf of office and 1,000 residential units.
