The deal is the latest in a series of such agreements signed in recent months that will bring the restaurant chain 286 new units in the next six to seven years.

In the past, the company expanded through franchising in nontraditional locations, according to its announcements. Now, Noble Roman's has begun franchising traditional dual-branded locations as well.

In recent months, other deals have provided for 49 new units in the Greensboro/Winston-Salem/High Point areas in North Carolina and Virginia; 20 units in metro Cincinnati and 40 units in the surrounding areas; 25 units in Sacramento County, Calif.; and 100 units in and around Atlanta.

The company has franchises in 45 states from coast-to-coast within the United States plus Guam. In addition, it has sold franchise agreements for military bases in Puerto Rico, Guam and Italy, and for entertainment facilities and convenience stores in Canada.
