Cambridge Healthtech Triples Size With 21,996-SF Lease

NEEDHAM, MA-Cambridge Healthtech Institute tripled its space and got a higher profile location when the firm signed a seven-year lease on 21,996 sf of class A office space at the New England Business Center here. The company, which produces conferences for the life science industry, previously occupied about 7,000 sf at the Echo Bridge Office Park in Newton.

Greg Hoffmeister, with T3 Advisors in Waltham, tells GlobeSt.com that the 250 First Ave. office space allowed the business to consolidate its operations and also offered room for a recently acquired operating company. The 73,000-sf building, located just off Route 128, has about 35,000 sf still available in four suites, he says.

“They were looking for a nicer image and this space was attractive because the perimeter office was built-out so they didn’t have to do a major renovation. That was one of the selling points,” Hoffmeister says.
