New Venture was represented by Jeffrey Dunne and Steven Bardsley of CB Richard Ellis' New York Tri-State Region Institutional Group and Richard Karson and Philip Heilpern of CBRE's Long Island office. The team also secured 60 Charles Linbergh Blvd.'s buyer.
The 217,351-sf, two-story property was built in 1986. The County of Nassau has a long-term lease on the building, which it signed in 2005 after consolidating several health and human services departments into the facility.
"JOSS Realty has acquired a strategically located facility with an investment grade tenant that provides stable, long-term cash flow," says Dunne, in a statement.
RexCorp owns four other properties in Uniondale, including the one-million-sf RexCorp Plaza, 333 Earle Ovington Blvd., 55 Charles Lindbergh Blvd. and 50 Charles Lindbergh Blvd.
RexCorp is composed of former executive members of Reckson Associates Realty Corp. prior to its merger with SL Green, including former CEO Scott Rechler. The merger closed Jan. 25, 2007, as reported by GlobeSt.com. At the merger's close, RexCorp bought $2 billion of SL Green's non-core assets.
