"I had the pleasure of working with Gerry in a joint role of leading and running the company for the past decade. The role has really been a shared role as I evolved in my position," Jeff Finn tells GlobeSt.com. He sees his new position not so much as a different job but as an evolution that has slowly been taking place over the years. Finn has worked at NAI Global since 1982.

In his pervious position, Jeff Finn helped NAI Global expand to include 5,000 employees and 350 offices across the globe, according to company executives, in a release. Finn has been the president of the company since 1995 and since then has doubled annual transaction volume, which is now more than $40 billion.

A year after taking on the role as president, Finn spearheaded the company's first expansion abroad, creating offices in Canada, Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. The firm now has locations in 45 countries.

"Our unprecedented growth in member firms, business volume, client relationships and geographic coverage are a testament to our corporate commitment, coupled with Jeff's strategic vision and skills," Gerald Finn says in a statement.

Going forward, Jeff Finn says his focus for the company is not going to change. "The direction we are taking as a company is to really transition from a network to a company - to operate much more seamlessly." He would like to see all the NAI Global offices working together better for the benefit of the company and their clients.

Also, Andrew Simon has been hired by NAI Global as a senior managing director in the company's New York City office. Simon, a 25-year veteran, was most recently employed at Colliers ABR. While there he negotiated the 50,000-sf lease deal for I-flex Solutions Inc.'s US headquarters location in Metropark, NJ.

Before Colliers, Simon handled the leasing, management and repositioning of 1180 Sixth Ave. and 44 Wall St while working for the Galbreath Co. He has also worked at Julien K. Studley Inc. and Jones Lang Wootton USA, according to a release.
