David Hopwood Hired as JLL's New Senior VP

CHICAGO-He says he plans to focus on increasing the firm's suburban business.

CHICAGO-David Hopwood has been hired as the new senior vice president at Jones Lang LaSalle. Hopwood was previously vice president at Duke Realty Corp.

As senior vice president with JLL, Hopwood will oversee the firm’s suburban portfolio. Although the firm’s suburban portfolio already consists of more than four million sf of office space, Hopwood believes it is an area of future growth for Jones Lang LaSalle. “We had a banner year downtown in terms of additional buildings we picked up and are managing and leasing and I think, with the addition of a couple of suburban leasing guys and myself, the goal will be obviously to grow the business out in the suburbs,” he tells GlobeSt.com.
